All4Aid Community Centre

All4Aid started working on Lesvos, Greece, in 2018 via short-term teams that served inside the former Moria Camp. Since February 2019 All4Aid manages its own community centres and programmes on Lesvos.

ALL4WOMEN CENTRE

At the All4Women Centre we focus on serving women and girls by offering:

8 safe warm showers;
A laundry facility with 10 commercial washing machines;
A shop (distribution area) providing clothing and personal hygiene items (diapers, wipes, feminine pads, bras, etc.);
A hospitality area where our female guests are served tea, take part in activities and workshops, as well as receive manicures, pedicures, hairstyling, etc.;
A baby bath area where mothers can bathe their infants in a warm, safe environment;
A sewing workshop with 10 robust and portable mechanical sewing machines.

FOODBANK PROGRAMME

This programme aims at helping to address the food insecurity issue in the refugee camp community on Lesvos, Greece. It serves preferentially the most vulnerable (e.g.: single women and female-headed households), but it is open to the whole community. Based on our values of providing the possibility of each person making their own choices, our FoodBank functions similarly to a supermarket, with each woman choosing free dry food items of their preference from the shelves, in a quantity proportional to the size of their family.

ALL4KIDS CENTRE

A trauma informed, non-formal educational programme for children ages 7-12, that serves as a complement to formal schooling. It focuses on supporting the learning of core and foundation subjects, such as: Maths, Languages, Arts, Music, and Physical Education. This programme is currently paused because of COVID-19 Restrictions on allowing children to leave the camp and gather together in our classroom.
