It is with a mix of sadness and deep gratitude that we say goodbye to Haniele, who has been a beloved part of the All4Aid family since January 2022, serving as our Head of Operations in Lesvos, Greece.
From the very beginning, Haniele brought her whole heart into the work—embracing the rich and diverse tapestry of lives she encountered on the island. Her gift for genuine connection and her quiet strength in showing love, even through the simplest gestures, left a lasting impression. Whether baking cakes with Afghan and Syrian women, sharing stories over tea, or offering a foot massage paired with words of hope, Haniele radiated grace and compassion. It was in moments like these that her heart for sharing God’s love and serving with compassion shone most clearly.
Even amidst leadership challenges—navigating budget constraints, language barriers, and complex regulatory frameworks—Haniele remained steadfast. She played a key role in shaping and expanding our programmes: from revamping the FoodBank, Laundry Room, and Shower Room, to launching new initiatives such as the Relaxation Room and the now cherished SPA (foot massage) space. Her impact is quite literally woven into the fabric of our work in Lesvos and will continue to bless the centre and its guests for years to come.
We are deeply thankful for Haniele’s unwavering dedication, her compassionate leadership, and the countless ways she has touched lives. As a colleague, friend, and servant-hearted leader, she has left a beautiful mark on the All4Aid team and on the people we serve.
Thank you, Haniele, for your incredible service and your legacy of love. We wish you every blessing as you step into your next chapter—and we remain truly thankful to God for the season we shared together.
