We’re excited to share an update from our Public Health Education Programme in Cyprus! Last month, we successfully held an important HIV educational workshop. This workshop was specifically designed for our dedicated volunteers. Through our work together, it became clear that providing a comprehensive overview of HIV would be valuable in supporting their efforts and ensuring accurate understanding.
We were thrilled to have almost all of our 20 volunteers attend. The session covered the definition of HIV, modes of transmission, available treatments, demographic information, prevalence rates, global impact, and other relevant factors. The workshop was engaging and informative, and we believe it was a beneficial learning opportunity for everyone who participated. Our goal with this programme is to empower our volunteers with the knowledge they need to make a real difference.
