Falafel Feast

Last year in Cyprus, a Syrian family of 5-6 from Kofinou camp diligently  travelled two hours each week  to attend our English classes. Their gratitude for the opportunity to learn was truly heartwarming.

To express their appreciation, they decided  to cook a delicious falafel feast for their classmates and our volunteers.

Coinciding with an employee’s birthday celebration, this  falafel feast brought together beneficiaries and volunteers, fostering a sense of community and appreciation – such a beautiful moment of shared joy!

This story highlights the profound impact of the work we do and the incredible spirit of our beneficiaries. Thank you to this amazing family for their generosity and for reminding us of the power of human connection.
