All4Aid’s Food Bank in Cyprus operates weekly on Monday mornings. The Food Bank primarily serves asylum seekers in the Larnaca district who are not residing in camps.
To ensure a fair distribution of resources, beneficiaries are scheduled for appointments every 30 days. Each 10-minute appointment slot can accommodate up to five individuals.
Upon arrival, beneficiaries can select five items from each of two designated sides. One side offers essential staples like flour, sugar, and pasta, while the other provides non-staple items such as coffee, tea, and biscuits. The quantity of items can be adjusted to accommodate the needs of families, considering the number and age of family members.
Most beneficiaries in Cyprus have to find their own housing with very little or no income. Those who have recently received refugee status are eligible to continue using the Food Bank for an additional six months as they transition to establishing their epsilon benefits, meaning they can start working in sectors with low wages.
Life in Cyprus is not easy for asylum seekers and All4Aid’s Food Bank strives to provide essential food items and thus support them in the Larnaca district.
All the food items we distribute in our Food Bank are purchased with your donations! Thank you!
