As we look back on our work in Lesvos, we want to share some highlights with you. In 2024, we provided 3373 high-quality loads of laundry. We also offered warm showers to 7040 women and girls. Each shower included comfortable, standardized temperature and water pressure, along with necessary items like towels, shampoo and conditioner. Furthermore, we provided food to 3941 women and their families at our FoodBank, and distributed clothing and hygiene items to 959 women and children. All items were offered freely, allowing refugees to choose what they needed. Our Spa Programme, which includes a foot washing and massage, served 307 women this year.
In Lesvos, the creation of new spaces in the facility for massages and relaxation during 2024 enabled us to provide a space for refugee women to find calm and peace amidst the turmoil of their transitions and life in the camp.
We cannot thank you enough for your partnership and amazing support of our programmes on Lesvos in 2024! We need all the help we can get to continue our work in 2025, as the camp population on Lesvos remains significant.
