Ukrainian Refugee Response: House of Hope

It is now official! All4Aid has signed an agreement with a local municipality south of Bucharest to establish and manage the House of Hope, a space of safety, comfort and peace that will house up to 40 Ukrainian refugees long-term.
In this creative partnership, the mayor of the municipality has generously made a concession of use of a large kindergarten building with a total of 10 rooms to All4Aid. In return, All4Aid agreed to complete the renovation work needed and leave a legacy for improved education in the community, even after the need for refugee housing is over.
Our team has already begun working on the building, laying laminate flooring, installing kitchen appliances and painting walls. The aim is to have the House of Hope completely furnished and ready for our Ukrainian guests next week!
