Today, many countries around the globe celebrate the International Children’s Day. At All4Aid, children are at the centre of what we do. This is what two of the children from Moria Camp on Lesvos have recently said:
“I come to the All4Kids Learning Centre for three hours every day from Monday to Friday. My cousin is also a student here, but she comes in the afternoon. I really enjoy my classes: I start my day learning English and then Math. When the lesson is difficult, my best friend F. and my teachers are always ready to help. After the lessons, sometimes we have P.E. outside, while at other times we have an Arts class or a Music class, where we also get to practice the new words we learned throughout the week. We then have a healthy snack – I love it when we get some yummy fruit and a glass of milk!”
“My mum and my sister often go to the All4Women Centre to take a shower – my baby sister loves spending time in the Kids’ Corner while she waits for mum.”
With thousands of children and minors in Moria Camp on Lesvos, All4Aid makes it a priority to offer care and education to as many kids as our facilities and personnel capacity would allow. We hope that all kids we work with get to feel loved, special and celebrated – not just today, but on every day of the year.
