Towards the end of 2019, we did some construction work and built a “shop” within our All4Women Community Centre. The aim was to distribute personal hygiene items and clothes to the refugee women in a more dignified way. Instead of doing mass distribution, every refugee lady is now able to come inside our shop and is given some time to choose a few items that she can take for free. The model has been working really well and it has been amazing to see how empowering it is to give them the power to choose!
