Our Volunteer Team arrived safely in Lesbos last Monday around 23:00. Despite a going to sleep late after a long day of travelling, they woke up early on Tuesday morning to face their first shift at Moria Refugee Camp. While some were tasked to organise clothes and other donations at the warehouse, others were assigned to drive refugee families who were moving back to the camp after riots had forced them to leave.
It was noted by everyone working there that, even though our volunteers were still tired from the trip, our team worked with a glad and servant heart. “It was a great and exhausting day; every one of us is full of impressions and really looking forward to our following days serving at the camp” – they reported.
